Exosome Therapy in London, Ontario
Exosome Hair Restoration, With or Without Needles
Exosome therapy at Kontour is a treatment for thinning hair. Exosomes are tiny particles made by cells, packed with growth factors and proteins.
We apply them to the scalp to help calm it and wake up follicles that have slowed down.
There is no surgery, and one option uses no needles at all. Every plan starts with an assessment led by Nurse Practitioner Belita Savage and her team.
- What Exosomes Are
Small Particles With a Big Job

Cells release exosomes to pass messages to other cells. The ones we use are rich in growth factors, proteins and genetic material. On the scalp, they are used to:
- Calm the scalp, easing redness and irritation
- Support scalp health, so hair has a better place to grow
- Wake up slowed follicles, for thicker, healthier looking hair
- Work alongside other treatments, such as PRP or the FoLix laser
Exosomes do not create new follicles. They work best on thinning hair where the follicles are there but weak, which is why your assessment comes first.

- Two Ways We Deliver It
Needle-Free, or With Microneedling

We offer exosomes for hair in two ways, and we help you choose.
- With JetPeel, a needle-free system that pushes exosomes about 1.4 mm into the scalp
- With microneedling, where fine channels open first and exosomes go in right after
- Either way, a visit takes about an hour
- Either one can be part of a plan with PRP or the FoLix laser
If needles make you nervous, JetPeel is the option people often choose. We talk it through with you before anything starts.

Exosome Treatment Options
How Exosomes Fit Into Your Hair Plan
Exosomes are one part of our hair loss treatments. Here is how they fit with the other options.

Exosomes With JetPeel
Needle-free delivery to the scalp
JetPeel uses a fine, high speed stream of air and liquid to push exosomes into the scalp, to a depth of about 1.4 mm. There are no needles, and most people go back to their day right after.

Microneedling With Exosomes
Fine channels first, then exosomes
Tiny needles make fine channels in the scalp, and exosomes and growth factors go in right after. It suits overall thinning and a widening part.

Exosomes With PRP or FoLix
Two treatments working together
Some people do better with a combined plan. We may add exosomes to a series of PRP or FoLix laser sessions when we think it gives you a better chance at steady progress.

- What to Expect
What Happens at Your Exosome Visit

Your first visit is a consultation, so we can check that exosomes make sense for you. Here is what we cover:
- When your thinning started and how fast it is changing
- A close look at your scalp and your hair loss pattern
- Your health history, including any iron or thyroid tests you have had
- Which delivery suits you, JetPeel or microneedling
- How many sessions we suggest, and why
- What results look like, and when to expect them
There is no pressure to book treatment on the same day. Hair grows slowly, so results build over months. Individual results vary.

Questions About Exosome Therapy
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are tiny particles that cells release to pass messages to other cells. The ones we use are rich in growth factors and proteins that help support the scalp and the hair follicles.
Does exosome therapy hurt?
The JetPeel option uses no needles, and most people find it comfortable. Microneedling uses fine needles, and we take steps to help you feel comfortable the whole time.
Do you offer exosomes for the face?
Right now we offer exosomes for hair. For skin, ask us about our facials and skin rejuvenation treatments.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your hair and your goals. Exosomes are usually done as a series, sometimes alongside PRP or the FoLix laser. We give you a clear plan at your consultation.
When will I see results?
Hair grows slowly. Most people need a few months before they notice a change. We set a realistic timeline with you at the start.
Is exosome therapy better than PRP?
Neither one is best for everyone. PRP uses your own blood, and exosomes need no blood draw. Some people do best with both, and we will tell you which we suggest and why.
Is it covered by OHIP?
No. Cosmetic hair treatments are not covered by OHIP. We go over the costs with you before you start.
