LED Light Therapy in London, Ontario
Gentle Light That Helps Your Skin Calm, Clear and Repair
LED light therapy uses gentle light to help your skin calm down, clear up and repair. At Kontour, we use a Health Canada approved LED system inside three facials and a short healing session. It is gentle, with no downtime.
Every LED treatment follows the protocols set by Nurse Practitioner Belita Savage, so the light you get matches the result you want.
- Treatment Overview
What Is LED Light Therapy?
LED stands for light emitting diode. Different colours of light reach different depths in the skin, and each one does a different job. The light is not UV, so it does not tan or burn your skin.
A session is calm and relaxing. LED is one of our facials and skin rejuvenation treatments.
The three kinds of light we use:
- Red light to support collagen and firmer, smoother skin
- Blue light to target acne causing bacteria and calm breakouts
- Near infrared light, which you cannot see, to support healing deeper down

- Our LED Options
Five Ways to Book LED Light Therapy
Each option is built for a different goal:
- KNTR Clarifying LED Therapy. A facial with cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extractions and blue light, for acne and congestion.
- KNTR Anti-Aging LED Therapy. A facial with red light, for skin repair and a firmer, smoother look.
- KNTR Luxe Regenerative LED Facial. Our longest facial, about 105 minutes, with dermaplaning, extractions, LED light and massage.
- Post-Procedure Healing LED. A short session to calm redness and swelling after injectables, microneedling or laser.
- Therapeutic Pain Management LED Series. A 10 session near infrared series for ongoing joint or muscle pain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does LED light therapy hurt?
No. LED does not burn or heat the skin. Most people find it relaxing.
Red light or blue light, which do I need?
Red light is used for aging concerns and repair, and blue light for acne and congestion. We choose at your visit. For ongoing breakouts, see our acne treatment programs.
How many sessions will I need?
LED works best as a series. We suggest a plan based on your goal at your first visit.
Can I have LED after Botox, filler or microneedling?
Yes. Our Post-Procedure Healing LED is made for that. It helps calm redness and swelling after injectables, microneedling, laser and other treatments.
Is LED safe for sensitive skin?
LED is gentle and suits most skin types. Tell us about any light sensitivity or medicine you take, and we will check it is right for you.
Does LED use UV light?
No. LED light therapy does not use UV light, so it does not tan your skin.
Can I combine LED with a facial?
Yes. Three of our LED options are full facials. If you would like a different facial, ask us about our customized facials.
